About the event
The Kilkenny Sustainable Art Show makes its much-anticipated return to An Chéad Tine Art Gallery from the 10th to the 25th of May, forming part of the Living Earth Rising Bealtaine festival, and in collaboration with National Biodiversity Week and Kilkenny County Council. This engaging exhibition will be officially launched by Gareth Kennedy — celebrated artist, lecturer, and head of NCAD FIELD — at 5pm on Saturday, the 10th of May, with a poetry reading to follow at 6pm.
Curated by Mary Doyle Burke, the exhibition called on artists from a range of disciplines to submit works that speak to the theme of sustainability - whether expressed through materials, ideas, or creative process.
This is a free event. Refreshments will be on offer, and all are most warmly welcome.
