1.618 - Is There Order In Chaos?

This exhibition curated by Mary Doyle Burke, brings together a group of Irish artists who's work explores the concept, is there order in chaos? Order and chaos are a symbiotic relationship, that is evident in nature and in human life. Many things in nature have dimensional properties that adhere to the golden ratio, the Fibonacci series. Just look at the trees and how they grow, where there is a fractional connection to them. These artists explore this famous pattern that shows up everywhere in nature and it's sequence and also challenge it, some of their works expressing the chaos... 

The exhibition will run during the period of the AKA Festival and Kilkenny Arts Festival, 11th - 18th August
